We asked Virginia Willis to develop a fabulous seafood sauce that would be radically different from the usual gloppy red stuff.  When she delivered Veracruz Seafood Sauce, we were thrilled with its versatility, unique taste, and nod to the evolution of Southern cooking. Our diverse South has embraced the saucy heat of Latino dishes, and the Veracruz Seafood Sauce reflects this influence. Inspired by the Mexican dish Red Snapper Veracruz, Virginia turned the flavors of tomato, jalapeno peppers, onions, green olives, and vinegar into a luscious, robust sauce that you will want to enjoy with all manner of seafood and meats.
